Quick Skillet Asparagus

  • 1 pound asparagus, cut diagonally into 1 inch pieces
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter
  • 2-3 tablespoons water


  1. Heat butter and water in a cast iron or heavy skillet.
  2. Add asparagus once boiling.
  3. Cover and cook over high heat, about 5 minutes, until crisp and bright green, don’t overcook.
