Honey Glazed Carrots

Based on 6 servings per recipe.

  • 6 carrots, cut on bias
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon butter, cut into 4 pieces
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • to taste pepper

Preparation

  1. Bring carrots, water and 1 tablespoon sugar to boil.
  2. Cover and reduce heat, simmering about 5 minutes
  3. Uncover and reduce 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add butter and sugar.
  5. Stir 3 minutes.
  6. Remove and add lemon juice
