Turkey Broth

Based on 6 servings per recipe.

  • 1 Small turkey or turkey breast carcass
  • 16 cups Water
  • 2 stalks Celery
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Onion, quartered
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried/4 stems fresh Dried or fresh thyme


  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 2 hours.
  3. Skim foam from top of stock.
  4. Strain vegetables, bones and meat from broth.
