Chris Matala named director of supply chain at Northwest Kidney Centers

Seattle, WA (Feb. 1, 2017): Northwest Kidney Centers has hired Chris Matala as director of supply chain. His responsibilities include leading procurement, supply handing, logistics and warehousing for the nonprofit dialysis provider, which operates 15 clinics in King and Clallam counties.

 

Most recently, he was director of supply chain for Island Hospital. Prior to that he was with Harrison Medical Center in a similar role. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Business Management from Central Washington University.

 

Northwest Kidney Centers is a regional, not-for-profit provider of kidney dialysis, public health education, and research into the causes and treatments of chronic kidney disease. Founded in Seattle in 1962, it was the world’s first dialysis organization. Now the 8th largest dialysis provider in the United States, it is known for high quality services, deep community connections and generous donor support.
