In Memory of Paulette Lucille Burrell
1942 - 2017
Paulette Lucille Burrell passed away peacefully at Virginia Mason in Seattle on Thursday Jan 5, 2017. She was born in Boise, ID, Nov 26, 1942 to Charles and Frances (Northridge) Housel. Paulette was raised in Prosser, WA. She graduated from Prosser High School and attended WWU in Bellingham.
After moving to Seattle, Paulette began working for Virginia Mason and remained there for 39 years. She worked in the Comptroller’s office and then Physician Services until retiring in 2004. She met her future husband, Ed Burrell in 1969 and they married in 1970. Paulette made many enduring friendships and the family appreciates the love and concern shown during her time in the hospital.
Paulette loved to travel, she and her family enjoyed many trips and cruises together over the years. After retiring Paulette and Ed moved from Seattle to Burlington WA. They purchased a motor home and traveled the country, spending several months each year in CA with retired friends and family.
Paulette is survived by her husband Ed Burrell, son Robert Burrell and wife Vickie, sister Jan Bryant and husband Charlie, nephew Brandon James, his wife Rachel and their son Owen, and many cousins. Her sister Vickie preceded her in death.
