Microwave Summer Fruit Jam

Ingredients

Based on 2 Tablespoons is a single serving servings per recipe.

  • 1 cup Mashed fruit
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon Butter or Margarine
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Preparation

 

1 cup mashed fruit, (Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, Blackberry, Plum, Peach, Pear or Apricot)

¾ cup sugar

¼ tsp butter or margarine

1 tsp lemon juice

Put ingredients in a microwave proof bowl and mix. Microwave on high for 4 minutes for strawberries; (5 minutes for all other berries and fruits).  Stir and microwave another 5 minutes. (Depends a little on your microwave, and the ripeness of the fruit. It may need a minute or two longer to soften.)  Cover with plastic wrap, keep refrigerated.
