Ingredients

Based on 8 (2 tablespoons each) servings per recipe.

  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon shallots, chopped
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chile powder
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Preparation

  1. Whisk together mustard, chile powder, and vinegar.
  2. Slowly whisk in oil until emulsified.
  3. Taste and add more chile powder if you cut the amount down.
