Project Manager

Responsibilities

This position provides project leadership for assigned initiative(s) by managing critical, complex, cross functional, projects for Northwest Kidney Centers. Projects involve Information Services, Information Technology and NKC. Participates in project proposal and decision process with IS leaders, project requestors, and the Information Services Steering Committee. Applies broad knowledge, effective facilitation and clear direction to lead project teams through detailed planning and implementation. Provides regular updates on projects to executive leadership (the VPs) and the ISSC and advises on future strategic initiatives. Responsible for full implementation of assigned projects. This position provides mentoring to others including project team members, IT, CIS and other staff, and support associates.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required. PMP Certification preferred and 4 to 6 years of project management experience required, healthcare project management experience preferred. Demonstrated IT experience and knowledge required, including IT resources management and forecasting, health care IT experience preferred. Requires excellent conceptualization, analytical and logic skills. Requires superb communication skills across all levels of an organization, orally, written, power points, etc. Demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively execute tasks.

Shift

BS or BA highly desirable, PMP required. 3-5 years related exp in healthcare. Valid WA State drivers license & proof of insurance required. Local travel required.
