The Home Hemodialysis Nurse Supervisor is accountable for the delivery and documentation of care of Home Hemodialysis Patients dialyzing at NKC. This position provides support to staff and patients and assists the Home Program Manager with site visits, infection review, coordinating new and ongoing
patient education and assessment, co-originating new staff and renal fellow orientation, coordination of department QI team. The nurse accepts and follows the leadership from the Program Manager.
In addition, the HHD Nurse Supervisor oversees the HHD Nurse Care Managers initiation of an accurate and continuous assessment of nephrology patients to determine the patient’s health history, current health status and family history; and to identify immediate, interim and long-term
nursing care needs.
One year of previous nursing experience. Dialysis experience is preferred.
8:00AM-4:30PM, Mon-Fri. 4 years previous PD nursing exp. BSN required. WA RN license required. Valid WA drivers license & proof of insurance required. Requires local travel.
