Infection Prevention Officer

Responsibilities

The Infection Prevention Officer will be responsible fror overseeing Exposure Control Plans to assure NKC is in compliance with federal, state, local regulations and industry guidelines such as CDC NHSN,
APIC to assure staff/patient/visitor compliance. The IPO will develop and implement programs to coordinate education efforts regarding infection prevention, manage the oversight of any infection related issues including peritoneal and home hemodialysis programs. This position demonstrates a high degree of responsibility, accountability, and autonomy and functions in a strong matrix relationship to Safety and
Employee Health, Human Resources and all within NKC including Medical Staff.

Requirements

Acute care or dialysis experience as a Registered Nurse plus 2 years of previous infection prevention program development OR 5+ years Infection Prevention work in an institutional setting.
WA State driver license and proof of insurance. Local travel required.

Shift

Acute care or dialysis experience as a RN plus 2 years of previous infection prevention program development OR 5+ years. Infection Prevention work in an institutional setting. WA State driver license
