Home Program Services Coordinator

Responsibilities

The Home Programs Services Coordinator is responsible to the Clinical Director Home Hemodialysis and PD, as well as the Home Programs Business Manager and Nurse Managers for facilitating Peritoneal and Home Hemodialysis Dialysis Services Department activities, answering all phone calls and initial admissions and scheduling of patients, medical reception duties, office services, and patient records. The position also is responsible for communications with patients, laboratories, physicians, and other persons or organizations: coordination collection of and data entry of patient logs, location of treatments, meds, and supplies for billing purposes, for assisting with transporting patients between the front door and the unit and back to the front door for operating all office equipment and software, and for performing relief and/or project duties when required.

Requirements

The Home Program Services Coordinator should have the equivalent of high school graduate level training and the equivalent of one-year previous medical reception experience with responsibilities for public contacts and use of medical terminology.

General office skills and experience with Microsoft Office products.
Excellent communications skills are required.

Shift

11:00AM-7:30PM, Mon-Fri. AA highly desirable, must have exceptional organization skills, proficient in MS office.
