Your Eating Plan

Combining smaller amounts (portions) of food with exercise will help you reach your weight goal. Portion control simply means avoiding large amounts of foods. Be sure to eat complete meals which include your favorite foods. Practice portion control rather than "counting calories." Make it even easier by eating slowly. A slower pace at the dinner table will reduce your tendency to overeat.

Because you are eating less food, it is important that your diet be well-balanced. Eat the right number of portions from each of the following 4 food groups every day.
