Now plan your own menu using the foods you chose. Try to use only 1 high, 2 medium, and 3 low servings:

If you can do this kind of menu every day, you'll have no problem controlling your potassium! 

If you have trouble with high potassium, try to limit yourself. Cut down on foods in the high group. Choose your serving sizes; could they be too large? You can also try pre-soaking some of your vegetables to lower their potassium content.
