Library

The Northwest Kidney Centers library has many books and magazines available for lending to patients and their families. There are books about living with Chronic Kidney Disease, about cooking for better health and other issues about living well.

We also offer books that other patients have suggested as “good reads”.

Some patients find listening to audiobooks helps pass the time while being dialyzed. We offer many books-on-tape if that interests you.

We have many video tapes available to borrow. Some suggest appropriate exercises for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease. Some suggest recipes for better health or the emotional aspects of CKD. Others concern themselves with the history of the Northwest Kidney Centers or contain interesting medical information.

We have brochures available to patients, their families and other relevant parties as well.

Please contact us for recommendations of titles concerning your specific needs or situation.
