Northwest Kidney Centers (NKC), based in the Seattle, Washington, area, offers dialysis and related kidney services, and has been a leader in kidney disease research (renal disease research). The organization was formerly named Northwest Kidney Center and Seattle Artificial Kidney, and integrated with the Northwest Kidney Foundation in 1987. Some also refer to Northwest Kidney Centers as NW Kidney Centers.
