Northwest Kidney Centers Research

Our mission at Northwest Kidney Centers (NKC) is to promote the optimal health, quality of life and independance of people with kidney disease through patient care, education and research. By contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the area of End Stage Renal Disease (kidney failure), we hope to improve clinical outcomes and contribute to a better quality of life for those that we serve.

NKC's research manager administers the organization's research program. As one of the ten largest dialysis providers in the USA, we have the advantages of an experienced clinical and research staff, a comprehensive information system, and a rich set of clinical data on more than 1,000 patients. Our services include home dialysis (peritoneal and hemodialysis), in-center dialysis and acute dialysis for hospitalized patients.

It has been our privilege to provide outpatient dialysis services since 1962, and we continue to build on our innovative history, working in collaboration with academic centers, and pharmaceutical and medical device companies on multiple phases of clinical trials.
