2010 Breakfast of Hope Keynote Speaker
John G. Piano
After career successes in law, entertainment and technology, John Piano felt driven to contribute to society. Building on his experience, he tackled the problem of organ donation shortages by creating Transplant Connect in 2003. Today this web-based, real-time medical records software enables nearly 50 percent of all U.S. organ transplants - up to 14,000 per year. Piano, recognized as GQ's "Better Man for 2009," remains a passionate advocate for the 20 Americans who die every day waiting for a transplant.
