Click here for a list of 101 tasty, low-sodium snacks. These are for everyone, but some have special notes about phosphorus or potassium for people on dialysis. (More potassium is better for people with healthy kidneys.) Enjoy!

Other ways to keep your kidneys healthy include:
•  Avoid illegal drugs and the overuse of prescription and over-the-counter drugs
•  Control blood pressure; reduce high blood pressure
•  Know your family health history
•  Quit smoking. Click here for information on quitting.

If you have concerns about being at risk for chronic kidney disease, get a kidney screening and talk with your doctor.
