Support Groups

Education, information, and support are important keys to dealing successfully with kidney failure before and after people start dialysis. For this reason, Northwest Kidney Centers has extensive education services available for those facing kidney failure as well as their loved ones. Family and friends as well as patients can benefit from the education and support we offer.

KEY Services (Kidney Education for You) offers a free and complete program that includes small classes and personal meetings with staff around King County.

KEY Services can be reached by calling 206-292-3090

This program was designed for patients before they start dialysis. However, current patients, their family members, and physician’s office staff are also welcome.

Patients and family members or physician’s office staff can call to register patients and families.

Medical office personnel are encouraged to attend to learn more about kidney failure and care.

No referral is needed for chronic kidney disease classes, but a referral is needed for Healthy Eating classes.
