In-Center Dialysis
Northwest Kidney Center treatment facilities are designed to meet the various medical needs of people on dialysis. Our centers are conveniently located in communities throughout the Puget Sound region.
• Our outpatient dialysis programs use state-of-the-art equipment that maximizes the benefits of treatment for each patient. Most units are open from very early in the morning to late at night to meet patients' varying scheduling needs.
• Our centers are safe, clean and comfortable, offering patient-focused amenities such as VCRs, satellite television, and Internet access from the dialysis chair.
• We know that beginning dialysis can be challenging for patients. To meet the needs of patients and their families before and after dialysis begins, we offer every patient individualized nutrition information, financial support services, and social support services.
• We offer an experienced, highly trained staff. In fact, about a quarter of our staff have been with Northwest Kidney Centers for more than 10 years. Training of our staff is intensive and involves hundreds of hours of classroom work and carefully supervised direct patient care. Continuing clinical education is provided to all our patient care staff.
